What is Applied Kinesiology, and how can it help you?
A safe, non-invasive way to find the root of a problem
Applied Kinesiology is a safe and non-invasive diagnostic system using muscle testing as a tool for evaluating neurological function. It gives your practitioner real-time feedback about how your nervous, structural and chemical systems are working together — so care is built around the source of a problem, not just its symptoms.

What is muscle testing?
An ideal neurological feedback tool
Muscle testing is both an art and a science — it involves both the tester and the person being tested, and results are read carefully rather than guessed at. Recent research theorises that brain frequencies actually synchronise when the test is performed correctly (Prof. Frank Bittmann, Universität Potsdam).
In everyday language, people describe a muscle as "weak" or "strong." That doesn't describe your general strength — it's an indication of whether the muscle is performing in a proper, predictable manner. A "weak" muscle is one where the motor signal to it is aberrant and conditionally inhibited; a muscle can also be dysfunctional by over-contracting, an equally aberrant reaction to a challenge.
Muscles can become imbalanced for many reasons — physical or neurological injury, chemical and biochemical issues, even emotional and electromagnetic-type stress. This is why an Applied Kinesiology practitioner trains extensively to perform manual muscle testing accurately, so you are well-oriented on the path to recovery.
