About the Australasia chapter
ICAK Australasia is the Australia, New Zealand and Japan chapter of the International College of Applied Kinesiology. Our members are licensed doctors who integrate Applied Kinesiology into patient-centred, functional care across the region.
Dr Michael Hooker chairs the chapter and also serves internationally on the Board of Examiners, helping set the standard by which every ICAK diplomate is certified.

What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic system that combines manual muscle testing with standard methods of diagnosis to evaluate the body's structural, chemical, and mental health. It gives practitioners real-time feedback to find the root cause of a problem and tailor treatment to each patient.
