IBORS is an essential component of the ICAK, playing a vital role in advancing the field of Applied Kinesiology by ensuring the highest standards of research and practice.

Our mission

The primary objectives of IBORS

Regulates and monitors the objective review of Applied Kinesiology techniques and procedures, establishing standards for inclusion in the ICAK’s approved material.

Actively promotes and supports high-quality research in Applied Kinesiology and manual muscle testing, facilitating advancements and scholarly excellence through rigorous scientific inquiry.

Provides guidance to ICAK members on research-related matters — from project setup to identifying primary research areas of concern in Applied Kinesiology.

Extends its expertise beyond ICAK membership, offering advice to universities and external organisations interested in researching Applied Kinesiology and manual muscle testing.
